It drives very deep and causes heart-ache
When one thirsts or starves and bed-ridden
In society he is defined as poverty stricken
Expenditure more than income not worrying about tomorrow
Is a state of poverty too, asking your to borrow
No money for daily bread and debts piling
Hike in prices and the present cost of living
Leaves even an employed, in a month-end poverty
Which is a recurring event and tends to infinity
To solve this problem, there is no surety.
